Our Research

Our research labs vary in discipline and research focus, but are unified by their interest in exploring topics in children across all age ranges. We span UConn's Psychology; Educational Psychology; Linguistics; Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences; Human Development & Family Studies; Kinesiology; and Cognitive Science departments.

Topics of research include, but certainly are not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Language Acquisition, Self-Control, Early Cognitive Development, Peer Relations, Language Disorders, Hearing Loss, Social Information Processing, Cognitive Skills in Deaf Children, Communication, Speech/Language Comprehension
